Measles Outbreak Out of Control in Khairpur Nara, Claims Lives of Three Children

Three children have died after a measles outbreak went out of control in Khairpur Nara, an area of interior Sindh.

‎According to sources, three children from the same household in village Imamuddin Buzdar lost their lives due to measles. The deceased children have been identified as six year old Muhammad Hassan, five year old Nabi Bakhsh, and three year old Ali Bakhsh.

‎Five more children affected by measles are currently under treatment, out of which the condition of three children is reported to be critical. Meanwhile, local residents said that there is a severe lack of medical facilities in the affected area.

‎They have demanded that immediate medical camps be set up to save the lives of children.
