Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Awn Chaudhry has urged relevant authorities to further strengthen services and facilitation for the Pakistani community residing in the United Arab Emirates.
Leading a delegation to Pakistan House in the UAE, the minister met with prominent Pakistani business leaders to discuss measures aimed at addressing the needs and concerns of overseas Pakistanis. The delegation included Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhry Ehsan ul Haq Bajwa and Managing Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), Muhammad Afzal Bhatti.
During the meetings, Awn Chaudhry emphasised the crucial role played by Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in supporting expatriates and stressed the importance of improving service delivery and expanding support mechanisms for the diaspora.
The delegation also reaffirmed the longstanding and historic relations between Pakistan and the UAE, acknowledging the valuable contributions of the Pakistani community to the economic and social development of both countries.
The minister expressed gratitude to the UAE government for its continued support and hospitality towards Pakistani nationals, noting that the strong bilateral relationship remains a source of mutual benefit.
