Monkeypox Cases on the Rise, Number of Patients Under Treatment Reaches Five

Monkeypox cases are increasing in South Punjab, with five patients now reported at Nishtar Hospital Multan.

‎According to details, another suspected patient has been admitted to the isolation ward of Nishtar Hospital Multan. With the arrival of this monkeypox patient, the number of patients under treatment in the Nishtar isolation ward has reached five.

‎Among the patients who tested positive for monkeypox at Nishtar Hospital Multan, two belong to Multan, one patient is from Muzaffargarh, and one patient is from Vehari.

‎Officials at Nishtar Hospital Multan stated that special attention is being given to the treatment of monkeypox patients.
