Karachi and other parts of Pakistan are experiencing lighter rainfall as the monsoon system begins to weaken, meteorological authorities reported.

While heavy downpours have subsided, light showers and intermittent rain are expected to continue in southern and central regions over the next few days. Residents are advised to remain cautious of localized flooding in low-lying areas.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) noted that temperatures are likely to moderate slightly, bringing temporary relief from the recent humid conditions. Urban areas, especially Karachi, may still see waterlogging in some parts due to residual rainfall.

Officials have urged citizens to stay updated with weather advisories and take necessary precautions, particularly in flood- zones.
