More than 158,000 flood victims in Punjab suffer from various diseases

More than 158,000 flood affected people in Punjab have contracted various diseases.

‎According to the Health Department, 49,500 cases of respiratory diseases, 43,000 cases of fever, and more than 33,000 cases of skin diseases have been reported among flood victims.

‎In Punjab’s flood hit areas, 20,945 cases of diarrhea, 7,621 cases of conjunctivitis, 143 cases of dog bites, and 88 snakebite cases have been reported at flood medical camps. More than 2,700 patients with minor injuries have also been recorded.

‎The Health Department has expressed concerns that the number of patients in flood affected areas may further increase.
