Mufti Muneeb-led Ulema Delegation Meets Federal Interior Ministers

A delegation of religious scholars led by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman met Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry. The meeting was also attended by Maulana Liaqat Hussain and Mufti Abid Mubarak.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the role of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and other religious scholars in promoting peace, stability, and unity in the country. He assured the delegation that their concerns would be addressed and agreed that concrete steps would be taken after reviewing the issues.

It was decided to form a committee under the leadership of Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, with Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and other religious scholars as members. The committee will present practical recommendations for resolving the issues.

Mohsin Naqvi said Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman is a respected figure for all and consistently promotes unity and harmony. Talal Chaudhry stated that the services of religious scholars for Pakistan are commendable.

Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman concluded the meeting by offering prayers for the country’s integrity, progress, stability, and prosperity.
