A tragic incident was reported in Rangpur, Muzaffargarh, where a 3.5-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted.
According to police, the child’s father stated that when he returned home, his wife told him their daughter was sleeping in a room.
Soon after, the little girl’s screams were heard. On entering the room, the mother allegedly saw the suspect, Aoun Abbas, assaulting the child. The accused fled when she cried out.
Police registered a case immediately and arrested the suspect. Forensic experts and the Crime Scene Unit collected evidence from the house.
District Police Officer Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah said that strong evidence would be presented in court to ensure the accused receives strict punishment.
