The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), under the Government of Pakistan, has announced a new paid internship programme for fresh graduates, offering a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000. The initiative aims to provide young graduates with practical professional experience in federal public-sector governance, technical and vocational education, and research activities. According to the recruitment announcement published on November 1, 2026, a total of 15 internship positions are available.

The internship programme will continue for a maximum period of six months, allowing selected candidates to gain hands-on experience in a government organisation. Applicants must have completed at least 16 years of education in relevant disciplines, including Economics, Finance, Law, Social Sciences, Engineering, Technology and Information Technology. The opportunity is particularly aimed at fresh graduates who want to develop professional skills and gain exposure to government operations.

Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years of age, while previous professional experience is not mandatory. Applicants should have strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of additional software such as Adobe InDesign, SPSS, Tableau and Python will also be considered an advantage. Candidates must also demonstrate good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Urdu. Applicants of all genders are encouraged to apply.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the National Employment Exchange Tool (NEXT) at jobs.gov.pk. The deadline for applications is November 14, 2026. Selected interns will receive Rs. 60,000 per month, subject to the submission and evaluation of monthly performance reports. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, while incomplete applications will not be considered. The programme provides fresh graduates with an opportunity to gain valuable professional exposure and strengthen their career prospects.
