Actor and model Nazish Jahangir says she often feels like “Pakistan’s Kangana Ranaut” because she is repeatedly dragged into controversies without reason. Appearing on a TV show, she opened up about how even her smallest personal decisions quickly turn into public debate.
Nazish said that endless rumours and unnecessary criticism have made her feel unfairly targeted. She explained that whatever she says immediately becomes a controversy, even though she gains nothing from the attention.
Referring to Kangana Ranaut the Bollywood star known for frequent media storms Nazish highlighted how unwanted spotlight can distort an actor’s real image. She said the constant scrutiny creates stress, not success.
The actor dismissed claims that controversies can boost an artist’s career, stating that not a single rumour has ever brought her more work or opportunities. Instead, the false stories circulating online make it harder for her to focus on her craft.
Sharing one personal experience, Nazish revealed that one of the biggest controversies in her life began simply because she refused a marriage proposal. That rejection sparked a wave of speculation, leading to completely baseless claims including rumours that she secretly married and left the industry.
She added that even taking a short break from dramas leads people to create their own stories about her life, fueling yet another cycle of misinformation.
Despite the constant public chatter and baseless narratives, Nazish said she remains committed to her work, focusing on growth and better roles. She has been steadily building her career since her debut in Bharosa in 2017.
