A 25-year-old man was found dead in his home in Orangi Town on Tuesday, just weeks after his wedding. Family members discovered the victim hanging from a ceiling fan with his hands and feet bound, a detail that has left investigators questioning the initial theory of suicide.
The discovery occurred in the early hours of the morning. Police arrived at the scene to find the victim—identified as Mohammad Zeeshan—suspended in a room that showed no immediate signs of forced entry.
“We are looking at all angles, but the state of the body makes a straightforward suicide difficult to accept,” a senior police official told reporters. Investigators have moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
