Offices across the country will remain closed on April 22 following an official public holiday notification issued by authorities, according to government circulars and media reports.

The holiday will apply nationwide to government offices, educational institutions, and most private sector organizations. Essential services such as hospitals, emergency response units, and utility providers will continue to operate without interruption.

Financial institutions and banks will also suspend routine operations for the day, although customers will be able to access digital and online banking services as usual.

Authorities have advised citizens to plan their activities accordingly, with normal operations expected to resume on the next working day.
