The Pakistan Navy carried out a major counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, seizing drugs valued at 130 million dollars.
According to Navy officials, the operation was conducted after surveillance units detected suspicious activity in open waters. A swift response team intercepted the vessel and recovered a large quantity of narcotics hidden in secret compartments.
Officials said the successful action reflects the Navy’s strong commitment to combating drug trafficking routes that pass through regional waters. The seized shipment was intended for international markets, and its interception is being termed a significant blow to smuggling networks.
The recovered narcotics have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation, while search operations in the surrounding area continue.
