PATTOKI — Police in Pattoki, located in the Kasur District of Punjab, have registered a criminal case after a man was allegedly drugged by his friend and one of his kidneys was surgically removed without his consent. According to police reports, the complainant, identified as Rehmat, stated that his friend, Raza, alongside two unidentified accomplices, lured him under the pretense of discussing a lucrative business venture before forcibly abducting him and traveling toward Rawalpindi.
In his official statement to law enforcement, Rehmat detailed that he was given a juice beverage spiked with a potent intoxicating substance, which caused him to immediately lose consciousness. Upon waking up in excruciating physical pain, he realized he had been subjected to a clandestine surgical procedure. After returning to Pattoki, an ultrasound examination medically confirmed that his right kidney had been surgically extracted. Following the victim’s formal complaint, Pattoki police registered a case on July 12, 2026. Preliminary criminal investigations are currently focusing on tracking down Raza and his accomplices. Meanwhile, Rehmat has made a public appeal to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar to ensure the immediate arrest and prosecution of the organ trafficking suspects.
