Lahore Police have claimed to have solved the triple murder case involving a father and his two sons in the Kahna area.
According to police officials, the investigation team of Kahna Police Station conducted a successful operation and arrested the suspects involved. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects and the victims had an ongoing financial dispute.
SP Investigation Shahid Nawaz Warraich stated that the prime suspect is serving as a Polio Block Incharge in the Health Department, while a female accomplice is also employed as a polio worker.
Police disclosed that the prime suspect, with the help of the female accomplice, allegedly laced juice with sedative pills and served it to elderly citizen Noman and his two sons, Imran and Kamran.
After the victims lost consciousness, the suspects strangled all three to death. Following the murders, the accused allegedly transferred Rs 3 million from the victims’ accounts to their own accounts using a mobile banking application.
Further investigation is underway.
