The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab has issued an alert for the 10th spell of monsoon rains, forecasting heavy downpours from September 6 to 9 across several districts of the province.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, strong showers are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Lahore, and Sialkot.
Rainfall is also likely in Narowal, Hafizabad, Okara, Sahiwal, Kasur, Sargodha, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Rajanpur. Authorities have also warned of possible flash flooding in some areas.
