Rawalpindi and Peshawar have come under severe dengue attacks.
According to details, in Rawalpindi so far 15,139 people have been tested for dengue, and 1,163 suspected cases have been confirmed positive.
According to the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, 21 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. No deaths have been reported due to dengue. Currently, 42 patients are under treatment in hospitals across the district.
A total of 5,909,755 houses have been inspected, and dengue larvae have been found in 185,030 houses.
Meanwhile, in Peshawar, the number of active dengue cases has reached 268. In the last 24 hours, 38 more people have been infected, bringing the total number of dengue cases in the province to 3,830.
At present, 54 dengue patients are under treatment in various hospitals in Peshawar, while two deaths have been reported so far in the province due to dengue.
With the temperature in Peshawar around 30°C, dengue cases are increasing in the plains, whereas in districts where the weather has turned dry and cold, the number of dengue cases has decreased.
