ISLAMABAD: Applications for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarships 2026 have opened for eligible Pakistani women seeking higher education at HEC-recognised universities in Pakistan. The programme is funded by the Scottish Government and administered by the British Council.
The scholarship supports women pursuing four-year bachelor’s degrees as well as eligible master’s and MPhil programmes. Priority is given to women from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those from rural areas, minority communities and women with disabilities.
The programme covers selected fields including Education, Health Sciences, STEM, Sustainable Energy, Food Security and Agriculture, and Climate. Applicants must meet the programme’s eligibility requirements and study at an HEC-recognised institution in Pakistan.
The deadline to apply is August 31, 2026. Interested candidates are advised to review the official British Council requirements carefully and submit their applications before the deadline.
The scholarship programme aims to reduce financial barriers to higher education and expand opportunities for Pakistani women to continue their academic and professional development.
