KARACHI: The Sindh government has approved new Recruitment Rules 2026 for educational boards across the province as part of efforts to improve administrative efficiency and modernise the examination system.
The reforms will allow educational boards to recruit specialised IT professionals to strengthen digital examination services.
Among the proposed positions are Director IT, website developer, system administrator and network security administrator.
The introduction of specialised IT positions is aimed at supporting e-marking, online services, digital records and technology-based examination processes.
Officials have also been directed to prepare updated seniority lists of employees working in the educational boards.
The government has further called for improved fire-safety arrangements in board buildings, highlighting the need for safer working environments and better emergency preparedness.
Separate recruitment rules for the Sindh Board of Technical Education are also expected to be finalised.
Officials said the reforms are intended to make recruitment more transparent while improving the digital capacity and overall functioning of educational boards.
