The Sindh government has warned private schools across the province against operating without proper registration, making it clear that strict legal action will be taken against institutions that violate official rules.

According to reports, the Sindh School Education Department has directed private educational institutions to ensure registration with the relevant authorities. Schools operating without legal approval have been told to complete the required registration process immediately.

Officials said unregistered schools cannot be allowed to continue educational activities because they often operate without proper inspection, approved facilities, qualified staff, fee regulation, and safety standards. The education department has also instructed concerned officers to monitor such institutions and take action where violations are found.

The move is aimed at bringing private schools under the official regulatory framework and protecting students and parents from unauthorized institutions. Authorities said registration is necessary to ensure that schools follow academic, administrative, safety, and fee-related rules.

Education officials warned that schools failing to comply may face penalties, closure, or other legal proceedings under the relevant education laws. Parents have also been advised to verify the registration status of schools before admitting their children.

The decision comes amid growing concerns over unregulated private schools operating in different parts of the province. The government says enforcement will help improve transparency, educational standards, and student safety.
