The Federal Ministry of Health has decided to start a joint campaign for immunization and the polio program.

‎A national campaign will be conducted in high risk districts to protect children from measles, rubella, and polio. The target is to vaccinate all children aged six months to five years. From November 17 to 29, vaccines will be provided at health centers, schools, and temporary points.

‎The national campaign aims to vaccinate more than 36.4 million children across the country. In 89 districts, 22.9 million children will also be given polio drops. Over the past three years, more than 131,000 measles cases have been reported nationwide.
