DUBAI: The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has officially kicked off ticket sales, with Phase I tickets becoming available today. The historic low-priced tickets went on sale at 6:15 pm PKT, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The governing body confirmed that more than 2 million tickets will be available in the first phase, while Phase II sales are expected to be announced soon. Ticket prices are set to be exceptionally affordable, starting at ₹100 (approximately $1.11) in India and LKR1000 (approximately $3.26) in Sri Lanka, with sales beginning at 18:45 IST.
Following the announcement, ICC Chief Executive Officer, Sanjog Gupta, highlighted that the low pricing strategy was designed to make the tournament accessible to fans, encouraging greater stadium attendance and engagement.
The move is being hailed as a fan-friendly initiative, ensuring that cricket enthusiasts across participating nations can experience the excitement of the T20 World Cup in person.
