Trump Warns of “Massive Conflict” as Isr@el-Iran Tensions Escalate

President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning about a potential large-scale conflict in the Middle East, acknowledging that an Isr@eli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities is “possible” as diplomatic negotiations continue between Washington and Tehran.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Thursday, Trump said:

“I want peace. I want a deal with Iran. But yes, there’s a chance of massive conflict — and that chance grows if things don’t calm down.”

While affirming that the U.S. is “close to a breakthrough” in nuclear negotiations with Iran, Trump expressed concern that an Isr@eli military action could derail the delicate talks. “I’ve asked them to wait,” he said, “because if we’re close to peace, a strike could blow it — or maybe force something faster. You never really know in the Middle East.”

His remarks come amid rising fears that Isr@el may launch a preemptive strike against Iran’s uranium enrichment sites, some of which are buried deep underground. U.S. intelligence agencies have issued alerts, and American embassies across the region have been placed on high security.

Earlier this week, the State Department evacuated non-essential personnel from diplomatic missions in Iraq, Jordan, and the UAE. “I told my people: Let’s not take any chances,” Trump said. “I don’t want to wake up and find out missiles are hitting buildings where Americans work.”

Despite his support for Isr@el, Trump remained cautious. “I support Isr@el, always have. But we want stability. We don’t want chaos in a region already suffering from war in Gaza and instability in Lebanon and Syria.”

Meanwhile, Tehran remains defiant. In a statement issued Thursday, Iranian military officials warned of a “crushing and unexpected response” if Isr@el or any of its allies initiate military action.

Iran continues to insist its nuclear program is peaceful, but Western powers remain unconvinced. On Thursday, the IAEA passed a resolution accusing Tehran of violating its non-proliferation commitments, a move Iran called “politically motivated.”

With the sixth round of U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations scheduled to take place in Oman on Sunday, the world watches closely. Trump reiterated that Iran “will never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon,” but emphasized diplomacy as the only sustainable solution.

As tensions simmer and the threat of war looms, Trump’s message was clear:

“Let’s get a deal done — before the bombs start falling.”
