Sources have indicated that the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, which has remained closed for several days, is likely to reopen within the next 24 to 48 hours. Negotiations between officials from both sides are said to be in the final stages, with hopes of restoring cross-border trade and the movement of people soon. Traders and transporters have expressed relief at the prospect, as the closure had caused significant economic losses and disrupted daily life in border areas.
