KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO), the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police arrested two high-profile terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from Manghopir on Sunday.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the arrested suspects, identified as Ajmal and Abdul Wakeel, had received training in Afghanistan and were linked to the notorious Afghan extremist Sharifullah.

The terrorists have been moved to an undisclosed location for interrogation, and authorities expect to gather valuable intelligence to track down more militants.

Security forces have intensified their crackdown on members of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarji, who are acting as proxies of India to disrupt peace in Pakistan.
