UK Police Launch Probe After Anti-Is*ael Chants at Glastonbury Music Festival

UK police have launched an investigation after two performers at the country’s largest music event, the Glastonbury Festival, allegedly chanted anti-Isra*el slogans during their performances.

According to international news agencies, the performances by rap groups Bob Vylan and Kneecap were officially recorded by police as a public order incident.

Both acts are accused of making anti-Isra*el and anti-Semitic remarks, and also criticizing UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer during their shows.

Irish rap group Kneecap reportedly targeted the prime minister directly, while punk-rap duo Bob Vylan chanted slogans against the Isra*eli military, sparking loud cheers from the crowd.

Audience members were seen waving Palestinian flags, enthusiastically responding to the performers’ remarks. The atmosphere reportedly became highly emotional as political slogans echoed across the venue.

It’s worth noting that Liam Ó Hannaidh, also known by his stage name Mo Chara and a member of Kneecap, is currently facing trial this month for allegedly waving a Hezbollah flag last year and chanting “Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah” at a separate event.

Under UK law, both Hamas and Hezbollah are designated as terrorist organizations, and expressing support for them is considered a criminal offense.
