A warning has been issued for people getting cosmetic filler injections on the face, as new complications have emerged in a recent study.

‎Health experts have issued an alert regarding this matter. Individuals who undergo facial cosmetic filler injections need to be aware of the dangerous complications.

‎Those receiving such injections also face the risk of blood vessel blockage. This can cause skin damage or, in severe cases, lead to blindness.

‎Experts from the Brazilian University of São Paulo studied 100 cases of filler injections using ultrasound.

‎The new study revealed various complications resulting from cosmetic filler injections on the face, including skin damage, blindness, and stroke.

‎According to medical experts, it is essential to identify blood vessels through ultrasound before administering fillers.

‎In case of complications, ultrasound can help in treating the affected area accurately. Using ultrasound guidance instead of unguided injections allows for better results with less medication.
