Wife Shoots Husband Dead in Orangi Town; Accused Arrested

KARACHI — A tragic incident occurred in Orangi Town Sector 11½, within the jurisdiction of Iqbal Market Police Station, where a woman named Amilia allegedly shot and killed her husband during a domestic dispute.

According to police sources, the victim, identified as 35-year-old Muhammad Hussain, was critically injured and shifted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Initial investigations suggest that the accused used a pistol during the argument. Police reached the scene promptly, arrested the accused Amilia, and recovered the weapon used in the crime.

A murder case has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s mother, and further investigation is underway.
Police officials added that the couple often quarreled due to domestic and financial disputes.
