Fourteen children were injured in an attack by a stray dog in Karachi’s Orangi Town area.
According to hospital administration, the injured children were immediately shifted to Sindh Government Hospital Orangi Town, where all of them were administered anti rabies vaccines.
The attack by the rabid dog left injuries on the children’s foreheads, heads, abdomen, hands, and feet. Area residents have called on the government to take immediate measures to eliminate stray dogs.
According to Mansoor Ali, In charge of the Rabies Clinic, 19 to 20 cases are being reported daily at Sindh Government Hospital Korangi.
