The 30th annual international conference of the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons was held in Islamabad, which is being described as an important development in medical education and research.
Due to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council SIFC, reforms in the health sector and modern medical research have gained a new direction.
Pakistan’s health sector is becoming a center of global attention due to growing capacity, innovation and investment opportunities, and in this regard the 30th annual international conference of the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons PAPS was held in Islamabad.
More than 400 delegates, 12 international experts and surgeons from leading teaching institutions across the country participated in the conference.
Active participation of attendees, scientific discussions and networking sessions were prominent during the conference, while special sessions and live demonstrations on non invasive aesthetic procedures and modern technology were also presented.
The support of SIFC has created new avenues in the health sector and provided a strong foundation at the global level. Local and foreign experts expressed their pleasure at participating in the conference and said that being part of the conference is an honor for them. The academic sessions held will prove highly beneficial for participants.
On this occasion, Professor Mamoon Rashid of Shifa International Hospital said that being part of the conference is an honor for him and the academic sessions are very useful. Dr Sharif Tekke from Istanbul described the conference as a pleasant and valuable academic experience and termed it highly important for both junior and senior surgeons.
Dr Saeed Ahmed Siddiqui from Bangladesh appreciated the scientific standard of the conference and said that he looks forward to cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh in the field of plastic surgery.
