Muzaffargarh: A 55-year-old man is appearing in Class 9 examinations in Muzaffargarh, offering what many are calling an inspiring example that age is no barrier to education. According to recent reporting, the candidate, Ghulam Qadir, is sitting for the matric-level exams after earlier unsuccessful attempts.

Speaking to the media, Ghulam Qadir said his children, who are educated, encouraged him to return to his studies. He said he had failed the matriculation exams twice in the past but did not lose hope and has now entered the examination hall again with renewed determination.

He said his last attempt was about 13 years ago and that he is now fully prepared to clear the examination. Qadir also expressed his wish to continue his education further if he succeeds, saying he hopes to move on to intermediate studies.

The story has drawn attention on social media and in local circles, where many have praised his persistence and commitment to learning despite his age. His appearance in the exams has been widely seen as a message that education remains open to people at every stage of life.
