The opening ceremony of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) training program for Pakistani practitioners was held at the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine. This six-month program is part of the China-Pakistan TCM Center’s mission to train and develop talent.

The program includes theory classes, practical training, and clinical practice, covering subjects like Chinese culture, medical Chinese language, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and needle techniques.

Liu Xinmin, co-director of the China-Pakistan TCM Center, said the program would help strengthen health cooperation and friendship between China and Pakistan.

Hu Sha, deputy leader of China’s 21st medical aid team to Zimbabwe, shared her experience in foreign aid work, while trainee representative Dabeer Ahmed Khan expressed excitement about learning valuable skills.

Since 2015, the hospital has held 25 international training sessions for over 500 participants from 25 countries and has sent experts to nations like Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, and the UAE to promote TCM globally.
