MULTAN: Motorway M-5 remains closed near Jalalpur Pirwala in Multan due to flooding, though restoration work is currently underway.

According to a Motorway spokesperson, 13 points along M-5 have already been affected, while there is a risk of four to five more points being damaged.

Due to the closure, Motorway Police are diverting traffic through alternative routes. Travelers heading from Multan to Sukkur are advised to use the alternative road and can rejoin M-5 from Uch Sharif Interchange.
