LAHORE – The Punjab government has approved the recruitment of 25,000 School Teacher Interns (STIs) under its internship programme, the provincial education minister announced on Tuesday.

He said 12,500 interns already working in schools will continue their assignments, while another 12,500 candidates will soon be hired for internships lasting seven to nine months.

The minister added that advertisements and complete guidelines for the new round of recruitment will be released shortly and advised applicants to prepare in advance.

He assured that the hiring process would remain transparent, with each district allocated a specific quota to ensure equal opportunities across the province.
