FAISALABAD/DASKA – Four people lost their lives and several others were injured in two separate road accidents reported on Thursday in Punjab.

In the first incident, three labourers were killed and another critically injured when a speeding truck ran over them near Balochni police limits in Jaranwala. The truck driver managed to flee the scene, while police impounded the vehicle and launched a search for the suspect.

In a separate accident in Daska, a speeding car ran over a motorcycle, killing 20-year-old Hasnain on the spot and leaving his companions, Mehmood and Ali Raza, critically injured. Both were shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. Police said investigations into both incidents are underway.
