In a social media post, the program stated, “The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution — starting on 30th October, 2025, in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next!”
This marks the beginning of a nationwide rollout under the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme, which aims to equip students with digital tools to enhance their education and skills. Following the Islamabad launch, the initiative will expand to other regions across Pakistan.
A flagship component of the PM’s Youth Programme, the scheme seeks to promote digital literacy, improve access to technology, and empower students enrolled in higher education institutions. Thousands of students from universities and colleges nationwide are expected to benefit.
Officials confirmed that the detailed schedule and regional distribution plan will be released soon. The Islamabad launch event will be attended by senior government representatives, alongside students from various educational institutions.
