The UAE Ministry of Education has announced the final exam schedule for the first academic term of the 2025–2026 school year, covering grades three through twelve in public and private schools that follow the ministry’s curriculum.
Exams for Group A subjects will begin on November 20 and continue until December 4, with a break for Eid Al Etihad celebrations. Schools must complete Group B assessments by November 14.
Students in grades three to five will take paper-based exams, while grades six to twelve will have either paper-based or electronic tests, depending on the subject. Grade twelve English exams will be conducted electronically, and students must bring their own laptops.
Strict rules have been issued on calculator use and electronic devices. Scientific calculators are allowed in science subjects from grades six to twelve, while restrictions vary across other tracks. Teachers may not read exam questions aloud, except for grade three.
The School Operations Department will supervise all exams to ensure fairness and consistency. Grade twelve students in private schools will take their exams in public school facilities, maintaining uniform standards nationwide.
