Rain has finally eased in Hyderabad as Cyclone Montha continues to weaken after making landfall in Andhra Pradesh earlier this week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued any new weather warning for the city, signaling an improvement in conditions.

However, parts of northern and eastern Telangana still face heavy rain and flooding, affecting road traffic and rescue operations. IMD scientist Dr. A. Dharma Raju said the cyclone is likely to turn into a depression soon, with weather expected to improve across the state after Saturday.

Light to moderate rain may continue in isolated areas, but overall, Hyderabad is set to recover as skies clear and temperatures settle during the first week of November.
