KARACHI – The Pakistan Customs Enforcement team foiled a smuggling attempt during a successful operation at Mochko Check Post, intercepting a passenger bus arriving from Balochistan to Karachi.
According to customs officials, during the inspection of passenger bus number LES-5724, authorities discovered nine kilograms of smuggled silver hidden in secret compartments, along with 8,000 Indian-made Viagra tablets of various brands.
A spokesperson for Pakistan Customs stated that the total value of the seized silver, tablets, and the bus amounts to approximately Rs. 31.5 million. A case has been registered, and both the bus and the confiscated items have been impounded for further investigation.
