KARACHI – A man was injured in a shooting incident in Sharafi Goth allegedly carried out by a disgruntled former employee, police reported on Friday.

According to SHO Sharafi Goth, Qamar Abbas, the incident took place near Dildar Hotel in Landhi, where 31-year-old Yasir, son of Khawaja Muhammad, was shot and injured. The victim, who owns a biryani center, was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.

Police said initial investigation suggests that the attack was motivated by a workplace dispute. The injured man claimed that his former employee, whom he had recently dismissed from the job, opened fire on him. The suspect managed to flee the scene after the shooting, and police have launched a search to apprehend him. Further investigation is underway.
