Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated a new IT Internship Program aimed at providing young graduates with practical training and career opportunities in the technology sector.
The program targets IT and Computer Science graduates and seeks to equip them with advanced market skills, helping them bridge the gap between academic learning and professional requirements.
Selected interns will receive hands-on training in modern technologies along with a monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 to support their learning journey.
According to the government, candidates must hold an IT or Computer Science degree completed within the last four years, possess a Punjab domicile, and have a valid CNIC to be eligible for the program.
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s broader effort to empower youth and strengthen the province’s digital economy.
