In the Jatoi tehsil of Muzaffargarh, a group of enraged individuals attacked a measles and rubella vaccination team with sticks.

‎According to police, the incident took place at Government Girls Primary School Jaffarabad in Jatoi, where the team administering the rubella vaccine was assaulted with sticks. Both male and female team members were beaten, while 15 people damaged the team’s equipment and snatched thousands of rupees.

‎The vaccination team reported that the suspects misled children by telling them that the team was injecting poison and that they would die.

‎A case has been registered at Jatoi Police Station against 15 suspects, including five nominated individuals, on the complaint of Deputy DHO Dr. Mushtaq. One nominated suspect, Tariq, has been arrested, while raids are underway to arrest the remaining suspects.
