There has been a rapid increase in monkeypox cases in Lahore, and the disease has been confirmed in three more individuals in the city.

‎According to sources, the affected individuals include 36 year old Sameera, 27 year old Shafqat Ali, and 30 year old Shan Ali, who have been shifted to the isolation ward of Mayo Hospital for treatment.

‎According to the health department, the total number of monkeypox cases in the city has reached 36 this year, while the disease has started spreading from one citizen to another, raising concerns.

‎In view of the situation, questions are also being raised as to why the health department has so far failed to effectively control the spread of monkeypox, while experts are emphasizing the need to strictly follow precautionary measures.
