A father and his son were seriously injured during an armed robbery attempt at their home in Korangi’s Zia Colony, Karachi. According to initial reports, the robbers opened fire before trying to escape, prompting police to pursue them.
During the chase, police engaged the suspects in retaliatory fire. Rescue officials from Chhipa confirmed that one of the robbers sustained injuries in the exchange and was taken into custody.
The injured father, son, and the wounded suspect were immediately shifted to Jinnah Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Further investigation is underway to determine whether additional suspects were involved.
