New York Times Reports Disclosure Of Child Deaths Linked To COVID-19 Vaccine

‎A confidential internal memo from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revealed that at least 10 children died following COVID-19 vaccination, with myocarditis (heart inflammation) cited as the possible cause. This claim was reported by the New York Times.

‎According to the report, the memo was prepared by FDA Chief Medical and Scientific Officer Vinay Prasad. It did not disclose the children’s ages, backgrounds, or the names of the vaccine manufacturers. The memo described the findings as “extremely concerning and deeply revealing.”

‎The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), under which the FDA operates, did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

‎The development comes at a time when U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has introduced major changes to the country’s COVID-19 vaccination policy, restricting vaccine access to individuals aged 65 and above as well as those with serious medical conditions.

‎Kennedy Jr., who has long been a critic of vaccines, has also linked vaccines to autism and other issues and announced reforms to the country’s immunization system.

‎During the COVID-19 pandemic, the administrations of Donald Trump and later Joe Biden strongly supported the vaccine, calling it a “life saving” tool. However, the emergence of the new memo has renewed questions about vaccine monitoring and the scientific review process in the U.S.

‎According to the New York Times, the FDA is considering introducing new rules, including a proposal to make randomized studies mandatory for all age groups.
