The UK is preparing for another spell of wet and windy weather this weekend, as 22 flood warnings remain in place across England on Saturday morning.
In addition, eight flood warnings are active in Scotland and six in Wales, amid concerns from the Met Office about “potentially disruptive weather next week.”
Temperatures are expected to stay mild, but strong winds and further rainfall especially across south Wales, south-west England and Cumbria may lead to additional weather warnings.
According to the Met Office, rain falling on already saturated ground in south Wales and south-west England could create hazardous travel conditions.
