According to nutrition specialists, consuming Lauki (bottle gourd/pumpkin) juice in the morning can support faster weight loss by improving metabolism and digestion.

Nutritionist  notes that drinking one glass of Lauki juice daily can help speed up the weight loss process. She highlights it as an easy addition to a healthy routine for those aiming to reduce belly fat.

Lauki is considered a low-calorie vegetable. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 100 grams of Lauki contains only 15 calories, making it a suitable option for weight-conscious individuals.

Why Lauki juice may help reduce belly fat

Lauki is high in dietary fiber, which helps keep the stomach full for longer periods. This reduces the urge to overeat and supports better portion control throughout the day.

Experts say fiber also plays an important role in improving digestion. Better digestion can make the weight loss process more effective and sustainable over time.

Health experts suggest that morning is the best time to drink vegetable juices. At this time, the body’s metabolism is more active, which may enhance the potential benefits of Lauki juice.

How to make Lauki juice at home

To prepare Lauki juice, peel the vegetable, cut it into small pieces, and blend it with water. Milk can also be used instead of water if preferred.

When blending with water, salt, lemon juice, or mint may be added for taste. However, experts advise against straining the juice, as this removes valuable fiber.

Lauki juice should always be made fresh and consumed immediately. Delaying consumption can reduce its nutritional value.
