Complete Ban Imposed on Mobile Phone Use in Hospital Emergency Departments, Notification Issued

A complete ban has been imposed on the use of mobile phones in the emergency departments of hospitals operating under the Health Department.

‎The Health Department has issued a notification to CEOs Health of all districts, as well as the heads of district and tehsil hospitals. According to the notification, the use of mobile phones has been declared prohibited for all staff, including doctors, nurses, and paramedics.

‎As per the issued notification, doctors and staff present on duty in emergency departments will use landline phones, while action will be taken in case of mobile phone use in emergency departments during duty hours.
