Monkeypox Risk Increases in Faisalabad, Two More Suspected Patients Shifted to Isolation Ward

An increase in monkeypox cases is being observed in Faisalabad. During the past 24 hours, two more individuals were shifted to the isolation ward after symptoms appeared.

‎The risk of monkeypox continues to rise in Faisalabad, where during the last 24 hours, two more suspected patients were admitted from the medical emergency to the isolation ward. According to hospital administration, the affected patients include a housewife and a factory worker.

‎Authorities said that a total of 18 monkeypox cases have so far been reported in the city, out of which one patient has died during treatment, while treatment of the remaining patients is ongoing.

‎Hospital administration has advised citizens to immediately consult a nearby doctor or hospital in case of unusual fever, skin rashes, or any other suspected symptoms.
