Borrowed Medicines for Under Construction Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital Returned

Medicines obtained on loan for the under construction Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital in Lahore have been returned to the respective hospitals. The decision was made due to a delay in making the hospital operational.

‎According to details, the medicines had been borrowed from Children Hospital Lahore, Mayo Hospital, Ganga Ram Hospital, Syed Mitha Hospital, Mian Munshi Hospital, and General Hospital Lahore.

‎Sources said that injections, syringes, and syrups had also been obtained on loan for the cancer hospital. A formal letter was issued by the hospital director for the return of the borrowed medicines.

‎In the letter, the Maraka Warehouse was directed to return the stock of borrowed medicines and medical supplies to the respective hospitals.
