A serious revelation has emerged regarding the storage of medicines worth billions of rupees purchased for government hospitals.
According to sources, the medicines are being stored in a warehouse located in Maraka on Multan Road without maintaining the prescribed temperature, raising concerns about the quality and effectiveness of the medicines.
Reports indicate that a video of the Maraka Medicine Store has also surfaced, showing that no effective arrangements are in place to maintain the required temperature level inside the warehouse.
Sources said that despite the lack of proper air conditioning or cold storage facilities, medicines worth billions of rupees were kept in extreme heat.
It was further revealed that the same medicines are being supplied to various government hospitals while ignoring temperature requirements.
